Sardinia’s best little-known beaches

Sardinia boasts some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, but in addition to the most famous destinations such as La Pelosa, Cala Mariolu or the beaches of Chia, there are less frequented corners of paradise that deserve to be discovered.

Here are some little-known beaches that will give you an authentic and wild experience.

1. Capo Pecora beach

Located on the south-western coast, Capo Pecora is a hidden gem among granite rocks and crystal-clear waters. Perfect for those seeking relaxation away from the crowds, it offers ideal snorkelling spots.

2. Cala Sa Cumpultitu

Hidden between Bosa and Alghero, this small bay can only be reached on foot via a path through the Mediterranean maquis. The turquoise sea and fine sand make it a true oasis of peace.

3. Scivu beach

With its golden sand and clear sea, Scivu is one of the most striking beaches on the Costa Verde. Thanks to its remote location, it offers an intimate and wild atmosphere.

4. Cala Domestica

Surrounded by high cliffs and with an almost exotic charm, Cala Domestica is located near Buggerru. Its turquoise waters and natural caves make it one of the most picturesque beaches on the island.

5. Su Sirboni

Beach Located along the Ogliastra coast, this beach enchants with its clear sand and red rocks. Despite its beauty, it remains uncrowded, perfect for those seeking an authentic corner of Sardinia.
