Palau in Sardinia is one of the most fascinating touristic destinations in Gallura.
Having evolved from a small fishing village in the 60s to the modern touristic centre of Gallura, Palau, with its hotels, resorts, complexes and luxury villas is a perfect holiday spot.
Palau’s touristic port, with capacity for 400 boats, makes the town the perfect place for sailing lovers, as well as for those who want to indulge in diving or snorkelling. It is also departure point for excursions to the archipelago of La Maddalena, with several boarding a day.
At only a few kilometres from Olbia airport and sea-port, Palau is well connected even with Alghero.
The town is located at37 km from Olbia, 12 km from Arzachena and 150 km from Alghero.
Palau, is a tremendously busy tourist location during the summer time, thanks to its stunning beaches and its magnificent natural beauty.
Within the town you can find Palau Vecchia beach, or even Sciumara beach.
